Can we keep earning Quil with version 1.4.21 after 2.0 is released?

It says that for QUIL earned during 1.4.19 and 1.4.21, we have one week to claim.
Does this mean that we can keep running version 1.4.21 (and earning) for extra one week after 2.0 is released? Just need to upgrade to 2.0 within the deadline (1 weeks after 2.0 is released)

Yes, that’s correct. You can keep running the nodes for an extra week after 2.0 is released, but there are two considerations:

  • Make sure you upgrade and claim within the week, otherwise all your rewards will be lost.
  • You’ll likely miss out on good prover slots for 2.0 if you delay the upgrade beyond the stasis lock on the first day.

But isn’t the prover slots be dynamic？
If one onde is on the core of the ring , and the network become bad,it could lose it’s slot, other node(maybe join after 1 week ) could take it’s slot？
