Combining Node/Config Legacies

So with the added ability to combine signatures such that they don’t overlap, does this mean that theoretically speaking if you had multiple configs running at different times, with some (but not a lot) overlap you’d just combine the signatures and get a more senior node.

To rephrase, if I understand correctly if you have multiple configs you can combine the configs in such a way to max the unique intervals present to be able to present more seniority.

In my mind there is an advantage, but also trade off that in this case you’d be essentially to trade quantity for quality, and may not be worth the effort in a lot of cases and is essentially just allowing a node operator to make mistakes in maintaining a straight legacy with once config.
