Hello,
Today, I received a concerning email from my provider about a vulnerability in the SSH package. This situation made me consider a broader scenario where my QUIL keys get compromised for any reason, not necessarily due to the SSH package failure.
I’m worried about the implications of such a compromise on my QUIL setup, specifically regarding the store folder. If my QUIL keys are compromised, what would happen to my store folder? Would I lose all my progress, increments, and other parameters because they are tied to the compromised keys?
Additionally, is there a way to transfer the ownership of my progress to another keypair if I suspect that my current keys are compromised? Or, in the case that my server, .config folder, or store folder is compromised, what are the recommended steps to secure or transfer ownership of the progress?
Maybe this case isn’t fully accounted for by Quilibrium? Is there something that might be implemented in the future to address issues like this? The latest Bittensor leak and hack have made me quite paranoid about these potential vulnerabilities.
Looking forward to any advice or best practices.
Thank you!
