The pre-1.9 node reward data is currently not stored on the mainnet. Cassie, how did you write this data into the network? If u can write this data, does it mean that others, like me, can also write these reward data into the mainnet?
It’s encoded with the initial state of the token application. By consequence, it is also decryptable by anyone (whereas subsequent transfers of tokens are not without the key material), which is valuable for transparency in auditing that this process did not include unexpected or incorrect data.
